Position Description:

The Team Assistant role is to support the assigned practice group (“PG”) by assisting the legal professionals (“LPs”) in a variety of non-billable work. The role is intended to enhance the efficiency of the PG and LPs by attending to their administrative and clerical requirements, assist in legal cases and ensure the smooth running of the PG in general.

A Team Assistant may from time to time be asked to assist outside the assigned PG depending on work demands.

Duties

Providing administrative and clerical support to the assigned PG.

Facilitate the meetings/appointments/conference calls and provide timely reminders to the respective Legal Professionals.

Record meeting discussions, maintain transcripts, document and maintain evidence.

Diligent electronic record keeping and filling of work matters as well as provide historical reference of file

Observe Client Document Management protocols (file opening, maintenance, retrieval, closing retention)

Provide the support to travel arrangements by PG team members.

Delivery of legal correspondence to clients, court or government agencies when the messenger services unavailable.

Other related work as assigned.

Requirements

Holds an undergraduate degree in any field, preferably in administration

Good command of spoken and written English and Khmer

Proficiency in Microsoft office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Possess good typing skills

Attention to detail is a must.

Possess team player qualities

Ability to multi task and prioritise multiple work demands.

Fast learner and worker with a strong service mind and "can-do" attitude.
